Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a trade test certificate or national diploma in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in electrical installations with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Experience with commercial project installations (retail, office, hospitality).
• Strong knowledge of SANS regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and specifications.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license; first aid is a plus.

Our client, a reputable electrical contracting firm, is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Supervisor for commercial projects in the Upington, Northern Cape region. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of installation teams, ensuring that all electrical work is performed in accordance with project specifications, electrical codes, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage teams of electricians and electrical apprentices on commercial construction sites.
• Plan and coordinate daily installation activities to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant SANS regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship quality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications, and provide guidance to installation crews.
• Manage materials and equipment on site, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage.

Requirements

• Qualified Electrician (Trade Test Certificate) or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
