Qualifications

About the Role

Our client, a leading construction and infrastructure development company, is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Electrical Installation Manager to oversee all electrical installation activities for major projects in East London and surrounding areas. This senior role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex electrical installations from planning through to commissioning, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. You will be responsible for managing site teams, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and liaising with clients and consultants. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and potentially renewable energy contexts. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of electrical installation projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.

• Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects in sectors such as commercial buildings, industrial facilities, or renewable energy.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and contract administration.
• In-depth knowledge of South African electrical regulations, codes, and safety standards (e.g., OHS Act, SANS).
• Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
