Infrastructure News Pty seeks a Remote Architectural Technologist to lead BIM & Digital Design, driving BIM strategy across projects and standardizing workflows from a fully remote South Africa setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an Architectural Technologist.
• Expert proficiency in Revit (creating families, templates, advanced modeling).
• Solid understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and data management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all architectural projects.
• Lead the adoption and effective utilization of BIM software throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and manage project-specific BIM execution plans.
• Provide technical support and training to architectural staff on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with external consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration of models and data.
• Generate detailed construction documentation, renderings, and visualizations using BIM and related digital tools.
