Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Corporate Paralegal in the Rustenburg area to support their legal operations from a home office. You will manage case files, perform legal research, and coordinate communications between clients and the legal team in a fully remote role.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of paralegal experience in corporate law, strong research skills, and proficiency with legal databases and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Accredited Paralegal qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience with a focus on corporate law and transactional work.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a high degree of professionalism.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file legal documents, pleadings, and corporate filings with relevant courts and agencies.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using online databases and other resources.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring all documents are accurately indexed and stored.
• Liaise with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to gather information and schedule appointments.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
