Job summary

Simera Sense, a leading Earth observation solutions provider, seeks a Systems Software Engineer to design and develop robust software for real-time edge platforms. You will work on operating system components, device drivers, boot software, and secure remote updates, collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver reliable and scalable software.

Ideal candidates have a foundation in CS or electronic engineering, strong knowledge of concurrency, networking, security, and systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor Honors Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Engineer secure, production-ready system software for real-time edge platforms.
• Design and implement system-level software on edge platforms with realtime OS.
• Develop device drivers, boot software, and secure remote updates.
• Design concurrent/parallel software and robust communication protocols.
• Perform component and system testing and qualification, producing test documentation.
