Job summary

Regal Group is seeking an Ecommerce Engineer to develop and maintain its ecommerce platforms, ensuring a secure, scalable, high-performance experience for customers. You will integrate ERP, CRM, inventory, and payment systems while driving SEO and site performance improvements.

You will collaborate with IT, marketing, and external partners to support Regal’s growth strategy and maintain robust API integrations across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
• Frontend frameworks such as React/Angular/Vue (advantageous).
• Backend with Node.js, PHP, or Python; REST APIs and integrations.
• Cloud experience (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure); SQL/NoSQL; Git.
• Understanding of performance optimization and SEO.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise Regal Group ecommerce platforms.
• Ensure uptime, stability, and performance of websites.
• Integrate ecommerce with ERP, inventory, CRM, and payment gateways.
• Develop and maintain APIs and data integrations.
• Manage product catalogue structure and data accuracy.
• Monitor analytics to improve conversion rates.
• Maintain security controls, SSL, and authentication.
• Support SEO and site performance enhancements.
• Coordinate with hosting providers and development partners.
• Manage staging and production environments and testing.
