Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead in Sandton, Gauteng to oversee daily warehouse activities, drive SOP adherence, and lead a team of associates in picking, packing, and shipping.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in warehouse operations, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of WMS and inventory control. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in e-commerce fulfillment.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of warehouse associates in picking, packing and shipping.
• Ensure SOP adherence and smooth workflow.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in cycle counts.
• Maintain a safe, organized working environment and enforce policies.
• Train and mentor new staff with ongoing guidance.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks promptly.
• Contribute to process improvements to boost productivity and reduce errors.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Report performance challenges to management.
• Ensure timely and accurate customer order fulfillment.
