Overview:

We are seeking an E-Commerce Specialist to manage and grow the company's presence across online marketplaces. The role focuses on online sales management, product listings, pricing, promotions and performance reporting to drive revenue growth and improve online visibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the company's product presence across online marketplaces such as Takealot, Amazon and similar platforms.
• Maintain product listings, including titles, images and descriptions, to improve visibility and conversion rates.
• Develop and implement pricing and promotional strategies in line with brand and margin guidelines.
• Analyse sales, website traffic and conversion data to identify growth opportunities and underperforming listings.
• Prepare regular e-commerce performance reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure stock availability and maintain appropriate inventory levels for online channels.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions and product listings.
• Maintain relationships with online marketplace account managers.
• Plan and execute online campaigns around key sales periods, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align online content and campaigns with broader marketing activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience managing e-commerce accounts on online marketplaces such as Takealot, Amazon or similar platforms.
• Experience in consumer electronics or home appliances will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting sales and marketplace performance data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online marketplace dashboards and reporting tools.
• A qualification in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business or a related field will be advantageous.
• Understanding of digital marketing and online merchandising principles.
• Strong commercial awareness and a sales-driven mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple marketplace accounts.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with marketing and supply chain teams.
