Job summary
Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage and enhance our Vereeniging-based online store. You will oversee product catalog updates, pricing, and inventory while implementing new features and resolving platform issues to improve the customer experience.
The role emphasizes data-driven optimization, performance monitoring, and collaboration with development teams to drive sales and brand reputation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Platform Specialist or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of Magento, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
- Strong UX/UI, design principles, and CRO.
- Experience with PIM and CMS platforms.
- Ability to analyze web analytics (GA) and translate insights into actions.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and optimize the e-commerce platform.
- Oversee product catalog management including pricing and inventory.
- Implement and test new features, plugins, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot issues with the platform; coordinate with development teams.
- Monitor site performance, uptime, and security.
- Analyze data to identify trends and conversion blockers.
