Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Platform Developer to join our technology team in Welkom. You will develop, customize, and maintain our e-commerce platform, delivering a robust and scalable shopping experience across devices.

The role requires proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies, integration with payment gateways, CRM/ERP, and performance/security optimization. A collaborative environment and opportunity for continuous learning are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with e-commerce development and deployed projects.
• Strong front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (PHP, Python, Node.js) skills.
• Experience with Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce, including theme and plugin development.
• Familiarity with MySQL or PostgreSQL and API integrations.
• Understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Git version control is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features for the e-commerce website.
• Integrate the platform with payment gateways, CRM, ERP, and marketing tools.
• Optimize performance, speed, and scalability for a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve platform bottlenecks across the stack.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
