Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experimental and data-driven E-commerce Growth Hacker to join our fast-paced online team in Benoni, Gauteng, or remote. You will design, run, and analyze A/B tests and growth experiments across website, email, social, and paid channels to drive traffic, conversions and retention.

You will collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering to implement growth initiatives, stay ahead of industry trends, and report KPI progress.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in growth hacking, performance marketing, or similar role focused on driving measurable growth.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in web analytics tools and data visualization.
• Experience with various marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and email marketing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Creative mindset with a passion for experimentation and innovation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Must be comfortable working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and execute growth experiments across the e-commerce funnel to drive key metrics like traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Design and conduct A/B tests and multivariate tests on website elements, landing pages, email campaigns, and ad creatives.
• Analyze experiment results to determine successful strategies and scale them across the business.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to implement growth initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategies for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest growth hacking techniques, tools, and industry trends.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress and findings.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Optimize conversion rates across all digital touchpoints.
