Placements24 is seeking an E-commerce Content Manager in Paarl, Western Cape. You will develop and execute content strategies for product descriptions, category pages, blogs, and emails to attract and engage customers and drive conversions.

You will lead SEO-focused content creation, collaborate with marketing and design teams, and manage external content creators. A strong writing portfolio and CMS/analytics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in content management, copywriting, or digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of published work.
• Proficiency in SEO principles and best practices for content creation.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for the e-commerce platform, aligning with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
• Create, edit, and proofread high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content across product descriptions, category pages, blog posts, and landing pages.
