Placements24 is seeking a creative and organized E-commerce Content Manager in Paarl, Western Cape. You will oversee content for product descriptions, website copy, blogs, social media, and email campaigns to attract customers and drive conversions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field and at least 3 years in content management or digital marketing, with strong SEO and CMS experience. A hybrid work setup is available at our Paarl offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in content management, copywriting, or digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio.
• SEO principles and content creation experience.
• Experience with CMS and e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for the e-commerce platform.
• Create, edit, and proofread high-quality, SEO-optimized content (product descriptions, pages, blogs, emails).
• Manage the content calendar for timely publication across channels.
• Oversee visual content creation ensuring brand alignment.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and design teams for accuracy.
• Monitor content performance and provide actionable insights.
