Placements24 is seeking a certified and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor & Program Developer to join a community-focused facility in George. You will lead engaging fitness classes and create personalized training plans tailored to diverse client goals.

This role emphasizes motivation, safety, and ongoing professional growth, with access to modern equipment and opportunities for certifications. CPR and First Aid are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Certification from a recognized fitness instruction body (REPS/ACSM).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering diverse fitness programs.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and customer service skills.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory.
• Physical stamina and the ability to demonstrate exercises effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct fitness classes, ensuring proper form, safety, and participant engagement.
• Design and implement customized fitness programs based on client assessments and objectives.
• Provide one-on-one personal training sessions, offering guidance and motivation to clients.
• Continuously research and stay updated on fitness trends, techniques, and exercise science.
• Maintain equipment, ensure cleanliness and safety of fitness areas, and manage class schedules.
• Promote fitness programs and services to attract new members and retain existing ones.
