Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a qualified Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer to join a modern fitness facility in Klerksdorp. You will lead group fitness classes and deliver personalized training programs to a diverse client base.

The role requires nationally recognized certification, CPR/AED, and at least 2 years of experience, with strong communication and the ability to tailor plans to individual needs. Competitive hourly wage and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified nationally recognized Personal Training certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as fitness instructor/personal trainer
• Excellent knowledge of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and anatomy
• Strong communication and motivational skills
• Ability to adapt training methods to various fitness levels and client needs

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging group fitness classes across multiple disciplines (HIIT, yoga, strength)
• Assess client fitness levels, goals, and needs to design personalized programs
• Provide one-on-one coaching with focus on form and injury prevention
• Educate clients on nutrition, lifestyle and healthy habits
• Build and maintain a strong client base through excellent service and communication
• Stay up-to-date with latest fitness trends and best practices
