Job summary

On the Dot Supply Chain Management (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Branch Manager in Durban. The role entails day-to-day branch management, revenue and cost control, and responsibility for logistics, HR, finance, marketing, admin and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ branch management experience, proficiency in computer packages, and experience in a publication distribution environment would be advantageous. Permanent contract and market-related remuneration apply.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in managing a business or branch.
• Experience across HR, finance and operations is required.
• Proficiency in standard computer packages.

Responsibilities

• Implement regional growth strategies in the branch to grow revenue and profit.
• Develop and execute operational plans to ensure timely service delivery at the right cost and quality.
• Maximise efficiency and productivity across all branch operations and identify value-add opportunities.
• Ensure the branch meets operational targets and delivers value to customers.
• Oversee financial performance with budgeting, reporting and controls for the branch.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and employees through regular communication and reporting.
• Monitor compliance with service level agreements and security policies.
• Plan for staff development, recruit and retain a high-performance team, and embed company culture.
