The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's/National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering with at least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 4+ years in industrial maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems (gearboxes, bearings, pumps) and electrical systems (motors, PLCs, control panels).
• Experience with reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with CMMS software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for all industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and performance tests on machinery to identify potential faults.
• Install and commission new equipment, ensuring proper setup and integration into existing systems.
• Manage spare parts inventory and order necessary components for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, equipment history, and costs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize operational disruptions during maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the factory floor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and reducing maintenance costs.
• Mentor and train junior maintenance staff on best practices and procedures.
