Job summary

HR Talent Partner SA in Cape Town is seeking a DTP Operator to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. The role focuses on accurate DTP make-up, layout, and pre-flighting of PDFs using in-house workflows within allocated time.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of DTP/Repro experience, strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and proficiency in Mac. Excellent salary and internal career advancement opportunities are on offer.

• Follow correct job brief from manager
• Read & understand work ticket before performing the task from brief to make up and supply high-res PDF using the agreed workflow
• Ensure Job complies with Company & ISO standards
• Verify compliance to standards / briefing and apply corrections accordingly
• Ensure that proof is signed before submitting jobs for production
• Ensure quality measures are in place
• Maintains system performance and integrity

A well-known national Media company is looking for a DTP Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis for their offices based in Cape Town.

Core Purpose of The Job:

To be able to perform accurate DTP make-up, layout and pre‑flighting of PDF’s while using the in‑house workflow systems/programmes within the allocated time.
