Job summary

Clariness GmbH in Cape Town seeks a DTP Artworker to translate approved concepts into production-ready print and digital materials. You will collaborate with designers, PMs and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, brand compliance and timely delivery of clinical trial materials and localized assets.

You will manage layouts, perform preflight checks, and adapt templates while maintaining version control and DAM/CMS organization in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional DTP/artwork production experience.
• Experience preparing multi-page documents for print and digital.
• Strong knowledge of commercial print requirements and technical artwork preparation.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Working experience with Figma, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS) is advantageous.
• Fluent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing the technical execution, formatting, and preparation of print and digital assets, including clinical trial materials and copy-based content.
• Ensuring all files meet production standards through detailed quality checks, preflight reviews, and technical validation before delivery.
• Preparing print-ready artwork, including managing complex layouts, colour specifications, file structures, and production requirements.
• Adapting established design templates and localized materials while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and brand integrity.
• Maintaining accurate version control, file organization, and asset management within Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Collaborating with Graphic Designers to preserve creative intent during production and with Project Managers to support timely project delivery.
• Supporting ongoing improvements to workflows, templates, and asset libraries to improve efficiency across global teams.
