Job summary

The Clicks Group is seeking a DTP Manager to join our studio at Head Office in Cape Town. You will lead DTP operators, ensure brand consistency, and deliver artwork that meets strict print standards and deadlines.

You will review content, edit visuals, and guide design across promotions while collaborating with the Creative Manager (Promotions). A degree in design and 6+ years of DTP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Desktop Publishing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing).
• Degree/ Diploma in Desktop Publishing, Graphic design, Advertising, and Art Direction (or related qualification).

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all DTP Operators and ticket setters.
• Ensure style guides, business processes, daily deliverables and technical industry standards are met with precision.
• Ensure that all produced work is accurate.
• Deliver artwork according to the critical path and deadlines.
• Review and edit text, graphics, or other materials created by writers and designers.
• Check proofs and artwork.
• Ensure interpretation and alignment to briefs whilst maintaining Clicks brand consistency.
• Roll out the artwork across promotions.
• Deliver specified outcomes and provide expert advice within brand programs and briefs.
• Provide strong support to Creative Head to maintain brand consistency and high design standards across Clicks Promotions.

Job Description:
To deliver excellence in the roll out of all Clicks promotions and making sure that all technical and industry print standards are met with accuracy andprecision to deliver on business objectives

Job Objectives:

Job Experience:
