Job summary

Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a reliable Shunter to manage truck movements across bakery operations. You will handle housekeeping, coordinate with inter-company depots, ensure trucks are parked correctly and moved to wash bays, and support loading pipelines.

The role requires a Grade 12, 3-4 years’ experience in a similar environment, and a valid Code 14 driver’s license with PDP. Weekend and public holiday shifts are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 3–4 years’ experience in a similar environment and role.
• Valid Code 14 driver’s license and PDP.

Responsibilities

• Truck housekeeping: ensure trucks are neat and clean at all times.
• Incident and accident reporting: ensure timely reporting.
• Pick up or deliver bread from Inter Company/ depots.
• Move all trucks to wash bay.
• Ensure diesel is filled in all vehicles.
• Park Vendor trucks in parking bay.
• Ensure trucks are parked in correct places per pipeline loading.
• Must be able to shunter the links/truck and trailer.
• Move pre-loaded trucks.

Key Responsibilities

Experience and Qualifications
