Hello Group in South Africa seeks a dedicated Driver to provide safe, reliable transport for EXCO members and stakeholders, and to securely deliver important documents and packages. The role emphasizes professionalism, punctuality, confidentiality, and discretion, with accountability for timely deliveries.

You will maintain assigned vehicles, comply with vehicle policies and road safety standards, and keep accurate delivery records, ensuring roadworthy condition and clean vehicles at all times.

Formación

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate is required.
• PDP Code Driver’s License holder required.
• Proven experience as a professional driver.
• Clean driving record with no major infringements.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and routes within Gauteng.

Hello Group is seeking to appoint a dedicated Driver who will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to EXCO members and other business stakeholders, as well as the secure and timely delivery of important documents and packages. The role requires a high level of professionalism, punctuality, confidentiality, and discretion. The Driver is also responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle in a clean, presentable, and roadworthy condition, ensuring compliance with company vehicle policies, road traffic regulations, and safety standards. Effective communication, accurate record-keeping, and accountability are essential to the successful execution of the role.

Duties and Responsibilities

Driving Operations

• Provide professional driving services to EXCO members and other business stakeholders.
• Ensure punctuality, confidentiality, and discretion in all transport duties.
• Communicate effectively with business and fleet management, providing timely feedback on operational matters.

Delivery Requirements

• Safely transport and deliver important documentation and packages.
• Obtain required signatures and confirmation for all critical deliveries.
• Maintain proper records and ensure accountability for all assigned deliveries.

Asset Management

• Ensure that the assigned vehicle is always clean, presentable, and roadworthy.
• Adhere to the company’s vehicle policy, including proper use, scheduled servicing, and reporting of any issues.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12 Certificate).
• PDP Code Driver’s License
• Proven experience as a professional driver.
• Clear driving record with no major traffic infringements.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and routes within Gauteng.
