Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a technician with an N3 Mechanical or Electrical qualification for a production role in KwaZulu-Natal. You will support downstream processes, maintain equipment to high standards, and drive efficiency. Labellers and cameras setup experience is essential; exposure to injection or blow moulding is advantageous.

Applicants should have at least 3 years in production/manufacturing and a mechanical/technical aptitude to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• N3 (mechanical or electrical) as a minimum but N4 or higher is essential.
• Mechanical/Technical aptitude and 3+ years in production/manufacturing.
• Experience in setup of labellers and cameras are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all downstream processes are functioning correctly.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained to a high standard to deliver required output.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve overall efficiency of the department.
• Ensuring top quality products are produced.
• Practising a high standard of housekeeping and safety.
