Mama Shelter Cape Town is seeking a friendly Door Attendant to greet guests, assist with luggage, and provide directions on arrival. You’ll be the first smile our guests see and help set the tone for a memorable Mama experience.

Collaborating with Concierge and Front Office, you’ll ensure a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure, while upholding safety and service standards in a dynamic lobby environment.

Qualifications

• Love for people and ability to welcome guests from the moment they arrive
• Vigilant and observant with attention to safety and guest needs
• Enjoy staying active: carrying luggage, deliveries, helping wherever needed
• Remain calm and professional during busy lobby periods
• Service-driven mindset focused on memorable guest experiences
• Collaborative with Concierge, Reception, Housekeeping and all departments
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion at work
• Hold a valid driver’s license and can assist with transportation when required

Responsibilities

• Open doors and assist with luggage to welcome guests and residents
• Provide directions and guest guidance to ensure a smooth arrival experience
• Escort guests to rooms and support logistics behind the scenes
• Support safety and security duties at the entrance and lobby area
• Work closely with Concierge and Front Office to ensure seamless guest journeys
• Maintain clean, organized entrance, storage areas and vehicles at all times
