Mama Shelter Cape Town is opening soon and seeks motivated hospitality staff to deliver a warm, home-like guest experience. You will manage a personalised service, from greeting and taking orders to processing payments and clearing tables, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

We value a friendly, attentive team player who can handle multiple tasks, set up dining spaces, and contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere for guests from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry a minimum of 3 plates at the same time.
• Detail-oriented and anticipatory to prevent missing items.
• Excellent memory for faces and orders.
• Friendly, attentive and kind to guests.
• Versatile and capable of selling when needed.
• Calm and adaptable under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of a personalised service from order taking to payment and clearing tables.
• Pre-service setup and replenishment of the restaurant.

THE MISSION?

• Our customers are in good hands with you.
• You will be responsible for the smooth running of a personalised service: from order taking to payment don’t forget to clear the table, otherwise no dessert just like at home!
• Prior to service, you ensure proper set-up and the replenishment of the restaurant.
• You guarantee the customer experience is always perfect.
