Job summary

Unifi Africa is seeking a senior product manager to own the direction, roadmap and delivery of a domain across African markets. You will identify opportunities, shape practical solutions and measure outcomes to boost client experience and business performance.

You’ll work with country teams, business analysts and development teams in a fast-paced environment, travel across Africa when needed, and balance strategic priorities with hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, technology, operations or a similar role.
• Experience in financial services, lending or African markets is a plus.
• Strong data analysis skills; SQL a plus.
• Experience taking products from idea to delivery with measurable results.
• Strong analytical and business thinking; data-driven prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Own the direction and roadmap for the domain, aligned with Unifi's growth strategy.
• Prioritise initiatives based on business value, client impact and technical complexity.
• Partner with country teams to translate needs into simple solutions.
• Understand client journeys and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Investigate problems, analyse data and identify root causes.
• Coordinate with business analysts and development teams to design and validate solutions.
• Lead and develop the business analysts while contributing to delivery.
• Track product performance and validate outcomes.
• Foster open communication with country teams and drive process improvements.
• Travel across Africa when needed.
