Job summary

Gauteng Provincial Government, Department of Roads and Transport, seeks an experienced ICT leader for the Deputy Director/Senior Management level. You will provide strategic ICT leadership, governance and risk management, oversee information systems and infrastructure, and lead projects and budgets to ensure reliable services.

The role requires 5 years of middle/senior management ICT experience, plus Nyukela certificate. Preference given to equity candidates in line with policy.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate qualification at NQF Level 7 in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, Business Information Systems / Business Information Management.
• Nyukela Senior Management Pre-entry certificate endorsed by National School of Government must be submitted prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICT leadership and advisory services to the Department and stakeholders; manage ICT governance, policy, compliance and risk.
• Manage and maintain departmental information systems; oversee ICT infrastructure, operations and end-user support; ensure security, continuity and resilience.
