Job summary

Salt is seeking a Digital Project Manager to run digital builds end-to-end from kickoff to launch in Bryanston, Johannesburg. You will manage websites, apps and platforms, coordinating teams across agency and tech domains.

The role requires 4–6 years in digital project or production management, with hands-on experience in paid media and agile processes. An Agile/Scrum certification is helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

Role: Digital Project Manager

Location: Onsite Bryanston Johannesburg

Salary: R50,000 - R57,000 per month

A leading marketing agency based in Johannesburg is looking for a Digital Project Manager. This person will be running digital builds end-to-end including websites, apps, platforms, integrations from kickoff to launch.

Requirements:

• 4–6 years in digital project or production management, with real time spent on both the agency side and the tech/product side
• Working knowledge of agile and scrum in practice — sprint planning, backlogs, standups — as well as traditional agency traffic and production methodology, and the judgement to know which one a given job actually needs
• Comfort in tools like Jira, Asana or similar, and the patience to explain them to people who've never opened one
• Enough technical fluency to know when "that's a quick fix" is true and when it's a developer being polite
• Hands‑on experience planning and running paid media (Meta, Google, programmatic — whatever the mix looks like) alongside organic social calendars and deployment
• A PM or Agile/Scrum certification — useful, not a dealbreaker if the experience is there
