Placements24 is seeking a Curriculum Lead for Digital Learning in Kimberley, South Africa. The role guides development and implementation of online programs, leading a team of curriculum developers and instructional designers in a hybrid work model.

You will oversee end-to-end digital curriculum projects, ensure pedagogically sound content, and collaborate with faculty and tech teams to align with objectives and industry standards. Strong strategic and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in curriculum development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focusing on digital learning.
• Proven experience in managing teams and leading complex curriculum projects.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, e-learning technologies, and assessment strategies.
• Excellent strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of curriculum developers and instructional designers focused on digital learning.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital curriculum development, from concept to delivery and evaluation.
• Ensure curriculum content is engaging, pedagogically sound, and aligned with learning objectives and industry standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including faculty, subject matter experts, and technology teams.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the expansion and enhancement of digital learning offerings.
• Monitor curriculum performance, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
