Job summary

Volvo Group Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Workshop Supervisor to lead workshop employees, manage daily activities, and drive efficiency and customer satisfaction in our KwaZulu-Natal operations. You will report to the Branch Manager and play a key role in achieving KPI targets across parts and workshop GP, while ensuring health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Matric / N3.
• Five (5) years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanical, with at least 2 years in a Team Leader/Supervisor capacity.
• Experience supervising people.
• Ability to develop and train staff.
• Ability to effectively organize work.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage workshop activities to meet departmental targets and efficiency goals.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety requirements.
• Drive customer satisfaction and value for money.
• Allocate technicians according to production plans and track progress of jobs.
• Oversee and maintain compensation and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate meetings with managers to ensure profitability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Volvo Group policies and procedures.
