Job summary

Staff Solutions in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking a Workshop Manager to lead daily operations, drive efficiency, and ensure quality across service, parts, and customer care.

You will manage staff, optimise WIP, coordinate with Parts and Warranty, uphold health, safety and dealer standards, and develop service sales. A Diesel Mechanic background and Code 14 license are essential, with at least five years in a similar role.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Diesel Mechanic Certificate is required.
• Code 14 driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan daily workshop operations and address deviations.
• Lead, motivate and manage workshop staff, technicians and service sales.
• Establish daily planning routines and follow-up on WIP and parts availability.
• Conduct regular meetings with workshop staff and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with Dealer Operating Standards and safety requirements.
• Create and manage work schedules and shift planning.
• Coordinate spare parts, warranty procedures, and technical support.
