Qualifications

• Matric/N3 required.
• Trade certificate as Diesel Mechanic required.
• Minimum 3 years dealership experience in maintenance and repairs of heavy commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding and diagnosis on Volvo products by interpreting performance issues and failures.
• Interpret and apply information from Volvo manuals and service literature.
• Perform repairs and maintenance to Volvo standards as per workshop manuals.
• Document findings, actions and recommendations accurately in reports.
• Liaise with drivers during breakdowns and ensure proper documentation and safety standards.
