Job summary

Volvo Group Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd is hiring for a maintenance and repair technician responsible for fault-finding on heavy commercial vehicles. You will interpret manuals, follow workshop instructions, and ensure repairs meet Volvo standards, while maintaining high customer service levels.

The role requires reading measuring equipment, understanding technical manuals, and strong English communication. Candidates should have Matric/N3 and dealership experience.

Qualifications

• Matric/N3 and relevant trade qualification preferred.
• 3 years dealership experience in maintenance and repairs of heavy commercial vehicles.
• Ability to read all relevant measuring equipment and interpret technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding and diagnosis on Volvo products by interpreting performance data and/or failure.
• Interpret and implement information in Volvo manuals and service literature.
• Follow workshop manuals to produce work to Volvo standards of repair and maintenance.
