Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Klerksdorp. You will design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, and develop infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible to ensure reliable software delivery.

You will work closely with development and operations teams to optimize deployments, improve deployment frequency, and uphold security throughout the lifecycle. Strong cloud, scripting, and containerization skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• 1,
• 4+ years in DevOps/SRE or related infra role.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaC tooling.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Solid containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities
