Job summary

JVR Software in South Africa's Western Cape is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to handle debtors and creditors, general bookkeeping, and monthly reconciliations.

The role requires 3+ years in bookkeeping, accuracy and confidentiality, and Pastel Payroll experience; IQ Retail knowledge is a plus. A tertiary qualification is ideal.

You must have own transport and a valid driver's license; duties include payroll, bank reconciliations, EFTs, and producing financial statements.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Applicable tertiary qualification ideal.
• Experience in Pastel beneficial.
• At least 3 years similar bookkeeping experience.
• Strong sense of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Own transport and valid drivers' license.

Responsibilities

• Debtors and Creditors / general bookkeeping.
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly creditor payments.
• Preparing financial reports and statements.
• EFT payment and transfers.
• Monitoring of monthly outstanding accounts.
• General banking.
• Salaries and wages: Pastel Payroll.
• Bookkeeping Software: IQ Retail.
