DP World in Johannesburg seeks an experienced operations leader to manage budgets, processes and teams within the depot, driving efficiency, customer satisfaction and compliance with policies. The role focuses on cost control, risk management and continuous improvement across the operation.

You will contribute to profitability and regulatory compliance while leading workforce planning, development and performance initiatives to sustain a productive work environment and strong service delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's or equivalent 3-year degree (NQF Level 7).
• Up to 5 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 2 years’ tactical leadership or specialist experience.
• Proficient budgeting and cost management knowledge and / or skill.
• Proficient business and operations management knowledge and / or skill.
• Proficient occupational health, safety, environment and quality knowledge and / or skill.
• Proficient people management and development knowledge and / or skill.
• Proficient labour relations procedures knowledge and / or skill.

Responsabilidades

• Define standard operating procedures and implement and manage end to end processes.
• Monitor and report on progress against operational plans and adjust where required.
• Formulate a plan which includes milestones and priorities to deliver on operational objectives.
• Define, manage, monitor and report on budget variances to maximize financial performance.
• Plan, manage and monitor initiatives to ensure customer service excellence.
• Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment.
• Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organizational values.
• Manage operational risk and risk mitigation initiatives.
