Job summary

Staff Solutions in Gauteng seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee Finance, Operations, HR and Risk Management. You will drive budgeting, revenue protection, SLA adherence, and staff development while coordinating service delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements include a degree in Business or Operations Management, plus several years in chemical operations, with ERP exposure (Syspro/Pastel) and strong leadership, budgeting, and forecasting skills.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric required.
• A degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager.
• Minimum three years’ Chemical Industry experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in Inventory Management.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and debtors control.
• Manage the operational budget with focus on cost management; authorize expenditure.
• Support with SLA agreements, client management and service delivery oversight.
• Human Resources management including appointments, training, discipline, and staff development.
• Risk management: safety, compliance, incident reporting, supplier SLA management.
• Attend management meetings and prepare performance reports.
