You will oversee staff performance, plan work schedules, monitor time and attendance, and conduct reviews for awards and promotions while training team members on product knowledge and procedures. This role emphasizes discipline, reliability, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Brights Leadership Training completed.
• Brights Induction (Service Excellence) completed.
• Intermediate merchandising certificate or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of the department and weekly reporting to the Department Manager.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and manage staff assignments.
• Plan work schedules, time and attendance, and monitor overtime.
• Conduct performance reviews and recognitions; nominate staff for awards.
• Train staff on product knowledge and procedures; monitor housekeeping and stock areas.
• Oversee stock handling, returns policy, and floor area allocation.
• Submit weekly/monthly reports; enforce disciplinary code when needed.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and drive customer service excellence.
