Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a talented DeFi Developer to join our Mossel Bay team. You will design, develop, and deploy DeFi protocols and applications, focusing on secure and scalable financial tools built on Ethereum-compatible networks.
You will work closely with product managers and engineers to deliver cutting-edge DeFi products, including lending, borrowing, AMMs, and DEX protocols, while staying ahead of security best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DeFi Developer or smart contract engineer with deployed projects.
- Strong proficiency in Solidity and experience with Hardhat/Truffle.
- Deep understanding of DeFi concepts such as AMMs, lending protocols, yield farming, and stablecoins.
- Familiarity with various blockchain networks (Ethereum, BSC, Polygon).
- Experience with security audits for smart contracts and DeFi protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy robust smart contracts for DeFi applications, focusing on lending, borrowing, trading, and yield farming.
- Design and implement decentralized exchange (DEX) protocols and automated market makers (AMMs).
- Integrate blockchain technology with existing financial systems and third-party protocols.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of DeFi protocols through rigorous testing and code optimization.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality DeFi products.
- Stay current with the latest trends, innovations, and security best practices in the DeFi space.
