Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated DeFi Protocol Developer to join a fully remote, globally distributed team. You will architect, build, and iterate on DeFi protocols powering lending, borrowing, trading, and yield generation, with a focus on security and economic incentives.

You will design and implement secure smart contracts using Solidity, evaluate protocol economics, and collaborate with researchers and other developers to shape protocol roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in developing and launching successful DeFi protocols.
• Expertise in Solidity.
• Deep understanding of financial mathematics, incentives, and game theory within DeFi.
• Experience with blockchain infrastructure, AMMs, lending protocols, and stablecoins.
• Proficiency in secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment for smart contracts.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into code.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable DeFi protocols and smart contracts.
• Implement innovative financial mechanisms and algorithms within decentralized frameworks.
• Conduct rigorous security audits and performance testing of protocol upgrades and new features.
• Collaborate with researchers, product managers, and other developers to define protocol specifications and roadmaps.
• Integrate protocols with various blockchain networks and external services.
• Monitor protocol performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
