Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to act as the commercial engine for Sales and CRM, handling CPQ configuration, pricing, and governance. You will produce Fee Proposal Documents and Order Documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance for complex fund administration deals.

You’ll report to the Senior Deal Desk Manager and help turn negotiated deals into ready-to-execute agreements while maintaining data integrity in CPQ and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Deal Desk, Commercial Operations, or a similar commercial/quoting function.
• Hands-on experience with CPQ tools (Salesforce CPQ or equivalent) — deal configuration, quoting, and proposal or order document production.
• Comfort with pricing and margin calculations, and understanding how deal structure affects outcomes.
• Experience within a governance framework and ability to navigate approvals.

Responsibilities

• Own deal construction in CPQ and ensure quotes match the agreement.
• Produce accurate fee proposals and order documents reflecting the deal.
• Own pricing and margin calculations using established models.
• Route deals through governance and approvals with appropriate scrutiny.
• Be first point of contact for Sales and CRM on commercial mechanics.
• Maintain pricing and product data accuracy in CPQ and Salesforce for downstream reporting.
