Job summary

Mimecast South Africa is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to support the sales team by structuring deals efficiently and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and execution to drive deal velocity and optimize pricing, discounting, and contract terms.

You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations, participate in onboarding and training, and develop dashboards to monitor deal performance and provide data-driven insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a similar role.
• Strong Salesforce and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) experience.
• Solid understanding of pricing models, discounting strategies, and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to partner with sales and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end deal execution from quote to close, ensuring speed and accuracy.
• Review deal terms for pricing compliance and contract terms with company policies.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to resolve roadblocks and streamline approvals.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor deal performance and provide data-driven insights.
