Job summary

Apex Group in Cape Town is seeking a Junior Sales Analyst to act as a control point between Sales, CRM, CSM, Onboarding and Data teams, ensuring that fee proposals are correctly interpreted, configured, and translated into Salesforce Opportunities that drive automated billing and revenue recognition.

This role requires a good understanding of the Funds industry, excellent attention to detail, and ideally having experience working with Salesforce and CPQ tools.

Qualifications

• Interpret complex fee proposals and translate into system configurations.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong interest in Sales.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience in a multi-regional, cross-functional environment.
• For Europe support, experience in the financial sector is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and other staff involved in the sales process – all Opportunity owners.
• Interpret proposals, including fee proposals sold to prospective clients, and build these in Salesforce.
• Confirm that the fee proposal makes sense and the right combination of products has been sold.
• Configure quotes in Salesforce, add necessary products and pricing.
• Undertake administrative work associated with the Opportunity, including: Creation of any new accounts.
