Why this role exists…

We’re supporting a global organisation on a fast-paced reporting and analytics initiative. As part of this, we’re hiring a Data Visualisation Consultant (C3) to join the team and start contributing to the workstream that’s kicking off on the 3rd of November.

This role is suited to someone who can lead small initiatives, own client relationships at a business level, and drive outcomes through technical excellence and strategic thinking. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the reporting solution and mentoring others.

What you'll be doing...

You’ll take ownership of dashboard delivery from requirements through to deployment. You’ll lead discussions with stakeholders, guide junior team members, and ensure the solution meets business needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading requirements analysis and dashboard design
• Building semantic models and interactive visualisations in Power BI
• Facilitating discussions and building consensus across teams
• Coaching and mentoring junior consultants

In your first 3–6 months, success might look like:

• Delivering a suite of dashboards that drive business insight
• Leading workshops or stakeholder sessions to refine requirements
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to internal best practices

What you'll need to succeed...

You might be a great fit if you have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (semantic modelling and visualisation)
• Familiarity with Databricks and Azure DevOps is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A growth mindset and experience mentoring others

This role might not be the right fit if you’re looking for:

• A fully remote setup – this role requires weekly presence in Cape Town and more during critical phases
• A purely architectural role – this is a hands-on delivery position with leadership responsibilities
