Pick n Pay is seeking a Data Operations Specialist to support the stability and evolution of the data and analytics platforms. You will work with SAP BW, BO, Data Services, InfoSteward, Power BI, Snowflake, and AWS-based data platforms, ensuring reliable delivery and incident resolution.

The role collaborates with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to optimize performance and contribute to DataOps maturity while remaining aligned with governance and operational standards.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years’ experience with enterprise data or BI platforms.
• Experience with SAP BW, Snowflake, or similar data platforms.
• Experience with ETL processes and analytics tools.
• Operational support or service delivery experience.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and Power BI is advantageous.
• Retail industry experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP/CRM is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Part of the Enterprise Data and Analytics team, supporting maintenance of data platforms and analytics systems.
• Support technologies including SAP BW, SAP BO, SAP Data Services, SAP InfoSteward, Power BI, Snowflake, and AWS-based platforms.
• Maintain operational stability and contribute to DataOps evolution.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand data-related issues and requirements.
• Provide incident support, investigate, analyze, and resolve data platform issues within SLAs.
• Monitor data pipelines, batch jobs, and integrations for availability and performance.
• Collaborate with infra, DevOps, and cloud teams to resolve platform issues.
• Contribute to DataOps practices, automation, and process improvements.
