Pick n Pay in Cape Town is seeking a Data Operations Specialist to support the stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our data and analytics platforms. You will work with SAP BW, SAP BO, Snowflake, Power BI, and AWS-based data services to ensure reliable delivery and incident resolution, collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Formación

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Engineering.
2–5 years’ experience with enterprise data or BI platforms.
Experience with SAP BW, Snowflake, and data integration/ETL.
Experience in operational support or service delivery environment.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS) and Power BI is advantageous.
Retail industry experience is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

Part of the Enterprise Data and Analytics team, supporting maintenance of enterprise data platforms.
Support SAP BW, SAP BO, SAP Data Services, SAP InfoSteward, AO, Power BI, Snowflake, and AWS-based platforms.
Ensure operational stability, incident response, and system changes within SLAs.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Contribute to DataOps through monitoring, automation, and process improvements.
Participate in standby rotations and ensure proper documentation.
