Job summary

Cyberpro Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking a data analytics and reporting specialist to analyse financial and operational data, produce clear reports, and provide insights to improve business performance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements, design dashboards, ensure data quality and governance, and deliver ad-hoc and scheduled reports using Excel, PowerPoint and SAP BusinessObjects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• 3+ years’ data analytics experience with focus on business process reporting.
• At least 2 years’ experience in report development and data-driven solutions.
• Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects or other BI/reporting tools.
• Experience analysing and interpreting financial and operational data.

Responsibilities

• Analyse data and present information to measure operational performance against objectives.
• Produce and schedule high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports.
• Improve data quality and assist with documentation, storage and sharing of knowledge.
• Provide analytical support by comparing actual results to budgets and evaluating strategies.
• Create compliance reports identifying discrepancies against policies and controls.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and design data analytics solutions.
• Facilitate interviews/workshops to evaluate processes and requirements.
• Resolve issues related to data analysis, audit and controls, data access and reporting.

To analyse, process and report on financial and operational data in order to provide valuable insights to the business and support informed decision-making.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Objectives

• Perform detailed analysis of data and present information in a clear, accurate and consistent manner to measure operational performance against set objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Produce and schedule high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports to address business requirements and support key initiatives.
  
• Contribute to improving data quality and assist with the documentation, storage and sharing of operational knowledge and best practices to improve business efficiency.
  
• Provide analytical support by assessing actual results against budgets and evaluating the feasibility of proposed business strategies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12
  
• Relevant Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Statistics or a related field
  
• 3+years' relevant data analytics experience, with specific exposure to business process reporting
  
• At least 2 years' experience in report development and data-driven solutions
  
• Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects or other Business Intelligence and reporting tools
  
• Experience analysing and interpreting financial and operational data
  
• Desirable: At least 1 year of experience in business process mapping
