Collaboration with technical and business stakeholders is essential. Ideal candidates have strong Microsoft data platform experience, hands-on ETL/ELT skills, and a proven track record in governance and data quality, including POPIA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong Microsoft data platform expertise and ETL/ELT hands-on experience.
• Experience with data governance, security and POPIA compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate requirements.
• Experience supporting on-premises data workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and integration solutions.
• Build and support enterprise data warehouses and scalable data models.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft data technologies.
• Manage and support on‑premises data workloads and pipeline operations.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across data platforms.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Support reporting and analytics initiatives by providing clean and reliable datasets.
• Contribute to testing, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of data solutions.
