DotActiv is seeking a Category Planner to drive strategic assortment plans and data-driven floor space optimisation in the South African retail market. You will design shelf plans, perform space planning analyses, and generate insights for clients, using DotActiv's software to maximise category performance and shopper satisfaction.

With 2+ years in retail and a degree in Consumer Science, Business, Marketing or Supply Chain, you will engage with retailers and internal teams to deliver value.

• 2+ years of experience in the Retail Sector.
• Creative flair and ability to identify visual appeal.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis abilities.
• Driver's licence and own transport.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.
• Represent the DotActiv brand as a specialist.
• High level of internal client engagement.
• Must have degree in Consumer Science/Business/Marketing or Supply Chain.

Responsabilidades

• Creating strategic assortment plans.
• Designing data-driven floor space plans.
• Planning and building data-driven shelf plans.
• Conducting floor and space plan analytical reviews.
• Developing optimised cluster plans per product category using the cluster optimizer and maintenance tools.
• Analysing the cluster plan and profiling each cluster to deliver strategic insights to clients.
• Maximising customer and category performance by considering category strategies and plans.
• Supporting, advising and guiding retail customers where required.
