Job summary

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking a Candidate Architect (Data Centre) to join our South Africa offices in Durban. You will develop and finalise work on specific elements under the guidance of a Senior Architect, including architectural design, BIM modelling and construction details.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, site visits, and adherence to SACAP requirements, with mentoring to grow professional competency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years relevant experience post qualification as a Junior Architect
• MArch - Masters of Architecture (Preferably)
• Registered with SACAP as Candidate Architect

Responsibilities

• Developing and finalising work on elements of a project under supervision
• Architectural design, BIM modelling and drawing production in line with briefs
• Coordinate design across disciplines and produce construction details
• Quality assurance and peer review to maintain professional standards
